LET’S TALK. LET’S FEEL. LET’S BUILD SOMETHING REAL.
At Real Talk, I work with individuals, couples and families who are ready to move beyond surface-level fixes and into honest, transformative connection. Whether you’re navigating long-standing tension, big life changes, or the everyday challenges of communication, this work is about shifting stuck patterns and building something stronger — together.
WHO YOU ARE
INDIVIDUAL
I provide inclusive care to clients of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and lived experiences.
Anxious, overwhelmed, and having difficulty managing emotions
Low self-worth, imposter syndrome, or feeling “not enough”
Identity exploration (gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, culture, faith)
Relationship patterns that keep repeating (even when you know better)
Grief, loss, or life after something ended before you were ready
People-pleasing, perfectionism, and self-abandonment
Trauma recovery (emotional, relational, developmental)
Burnout, life transitions, or a general sense of “What now?”
Shame, secrecy, or feeling like parts of you are too much to name
Compulsive behaviors and self-soothing patterns (substance abuse, food, sex, etc.)
COUPLES
I work with couples of all identities, orientations and structures experiencing:
Communication breakdowns and recurring arguments
Emotional disconnection and intimacy concerns
Navigating infidelity, betrayal, or trust ruptures
Life transitions (parenthood, career changes, relocation, etc.)
Partnership/Commitment counseling (also called “premarital” counseling)
Attachment style clashes and unmet emotional needs
Power dynamics, boundary-setting, and co-regulation skills
Exploring identity and neurodiversity within the relationship
My approach is collaborative, honest, and growth-focused. Whether you’re working to repair after a rupture or reconnect, we’ll create space for both partners to feel heard and supported.
FAMILY
Families are systems — when one part is hurting, the whole dynamic can shift. Family therapy can help open up conversations, repair disconnection, and navigate difficult transitions with more clarity and compassion.
Parent-child conflict or emotional disconnect
Sibling conflicts
Coping with major changes (divorce, blended families, relocation, medical diagnoses)
Emotionally immature, enmeshed, or avoidant family dynamics
Boundary-setting with adult children or aging parents
Intergenerational trauma and repeating patterns
Caregiving challenges or shifting family roles
Rebuilding trust after rupture or prolonged silence
This is a space for each member to feel seen. We’ll slow down the reactive patterns, explore deeper needs underneath the conflict, and move toward mutual understanding — even when it feels hard.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”
— Brené Brown

PAYMENT DETAILS
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and can provide superbills if you wish to submit for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider.
I am a private pay provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. I’m happy to provide an itemized monthly superbill upon request.
Tip: Call your insurance provider and ask about “out-of-network mental health benefits” for CPT code 90834 (individual therapy) or 90847 (couples/family therapy).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Life can be unpredictable, and unexpected things do come up. At the same time, your therapy hour is important time set aside just for you. In order to honor the work we’re doing together — and to maintain a consistent, reliable schedule — I require at least 48 business hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling so that the time slot may be utilized for other clients needing to be seen.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged the full session fee.
TELEHEALTH AVAILABILITY
It has been my evaluation that therapy is most impactful when held in person — where presence, attunement, and connection can be felt most fully — there are life occasions requiring our flexibility, which can be considered when utilizing telehealth for our time. I offer telehealth sessions on an as-needed basis, such as for illness or unforeseen scheduling conflicts.
In-person therapy is the default and preferred format for ongoing work.
All initial sessions for new clients must be conducted in person. This helps us establish a strong foundation for the work ahead.
All couples and family sessions are in person to support the complexity of relational dynamics and create a grounded, focused space for everyone involved.
Telehealth may be used temporarily when appropriate, but is not offered as a long-term substitute for in-person care.
If you have a short-term need for a virtual session, please let me know as early as possible so we can make appropriate accommodations.
